We build this site to work with keyboards, screen readers, browser zoom and small screens. We aim to meet the WCAG 2.1 level AA guidelines as a practical target rather than a marketing claim.

Pages use ordinary headings in order, text alternatives for photographs, visible focus outlines, and colour combinations checked for contrast. Text can be resized without content disappearing, and no page depends on hovering to reveal information.

Some older photographs have short alternative text that describes the scene rather than every detail. If you hit a barrier anywhere on the site, tell us what page it was and what you were using, and we will fix it or offer the content another way.
